English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
A group of parents who represent the school's English Learners. The group gives advice about English Learner programs and services. Each school site has the responsibility to send a representative and an alternate to attend the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC). The group meets regularly throughout the year to facilitate the coordination of effective parent involvement activities throughout the District, improve EL reclassification, and to serve as a two-way contact between District and sites.
