School Advisory Committee (SAC)

Each school which receives LCFF or Title I funds has an established Site Advisory Council (SAC) which advises the Principal and the School Site Council on the development and implementation of a plan to involve parents and close the achievement gap between high and low performing pupils. Each school site has the responsibility to send a representative or an alternate to attend the District Advisory Council (DAC). The group meets regularly throughout the year to facilitate the coordination of effective parent involvement activities throughout the District, improve pupil academic achievement and to serve as a two-way contact between District and site.
